Anyone been on a successful weight loss program? I can't afford one and need to loose weight, some info please?
I've been struggling with weight loss for 2 years, after giving birth to my second daughter. Its now been almost three months of dieting and exercise, and I haven't lost a single kilo How is this possible? My doctor did some blood tests and my thyroid is fine and everything else. I eat aprox 1200 1800cal a day, with 1 hour zumba 5 days a week. I weight 66kg 145 pounds and I'm 158cm 5'2 so I am overweight by 8kg 17pounds and I would like to be 120 pounds ..... I can't afford a dietician nor a personal trainer or anything else as we are tight on money now... Will appreciate your experiences

I am 14 female , 5' 6" , 152 pounds and I look hideous and revolting. I need to lose weight and get toned. Don't tell me that I don't need to do anything about it becuase I do. My doctor told me so during my physical. But it wasn't so much my doctor that makes me want to lose weight, its my self image and self esteem. I look in the mirror and I see huge hips, misshaped chest area if you get my drift , large thighs with stretchmarks on the inner thigh, stretchmarks trying to break through where the hips meet the legs, arms with no definition, calves that could be smaller, and last but not least, my disgusting midsection that bulges out from my pelvis by about 3 inches. Every day, i wear a sweatshirt to school to hide my body, but i so desperately want to take it off and not be embarrassed. I want to go shopping with friends again and not be embarrassed about my size and hide from mirrors. Now, I order all my clothes from the internet so i don't have to go to the mall. I haven't worn a bathing suit in 2.5 years. I haven't gone swimming with friends or family in 2.5 years. I want to be comfortable with myself in PE at school. I can't change clothes in front of the girls in the locker room, I change in the bathroom stall. I'm going to come back to school for my 9th grade year and people will say " Is she new? Oh my god, no, that's Nicole She looks so good She changed so much " I will not miss my ninth grade dance because I look like a disgusting hippo and decide not to show up. I have made that promise to not disappoint my future self. During this 2012 summer, I am going to rebuild myself, my personality, my body, my esteem, my confidence. Because of this weight, I have let myself become an introvert. I used to be a social butterfly Tons of friends, happy all the time, funny...but now I have 0 friends. ZERO. Thats not an exaggeration. The only way you get anywhere in this world, is to look good. Its all appearances. Lets not sugarcoat it. I experienced it.Body in good shape lots of friends. Body in bad shape 0 friends. Everybody left when i got fat. Even my family. Sorry to rant on you guys like that. Thats been bottled up for a long time. I just couldn't say that to anybody else. I just didn't want to be embarrassed by talking to somebody I know and let them know how weak and pathetic I've actually become. I'm ordering a workout plan from Beachbody.com and that's, that. I'm not going to just go on a run everyday and eat healthy by myself. I need a plan with structure, motivation, a coach, and an eating plan. SO, to the point, what is the best plan from Beachbody.com? I will do any intensity of workout as long as it requires minimal workout equipment and will give me results in 3 months or less. Please, this is the best thing for me right now. I don't want a workout that has confusing and rapid dance moves I get confused and I wont get the most out of the workout or a workout that will give me TONS or muscle because i want to look SLIMMED DOWN not BULKED UP. So, I dropped a lot of weight recently. But I can't seem to maintain it now. I did really well for awhile but i'm gettin all fat and gross again. I lost weight the first time by not eating and working out. BUUUUUT I need a new system. What is a fast, and really effective diet and workout plan? I joined a gym today and am wondering if anyone has any input about a good workout program to help me lose weight. I'm looking to lose some weight and tone up. I did cardio at school 5 days a week 15 20 mins on the treadmill and 15 20 on the elliptical or bike and recently started using the treadmill again at home, but have seen very little change. I heard that weight lifting speeds up weight loss, but I don't even know where to start when it comes to weight lifting.So does anyone have any input on some type of program for me to do?? I know it's kinda broad but I don't know where to start. I know that a healthy diet's important too..it's a work in progress. Thanks
