I need tips for running/walking to lose weight?
I'm 17 years old and need to lose about 30 pounds to be at a healthy weight. I've been trying to run at least thirty minutes a day, but recently started this. Where I live there are a lot of hills to run up, and I become exhausted quickly. What are some tips for me, to lose weight, not really fast but speed the process up? Should I begin walking for a few weeks and then run?

If every morning, and I mean every morning, I walk 30 45 minutes around my neighborhood with some hills and what not, but let's not focus on that let's just think of it as walking will I really lose weight? I usually swim during the day too for 15 25 minutes if I want a good workout. I weigh 140 lbs at 5'5 and have come a long way from 170 lbs and only have 10 lbs to lose left. I got out of the habit of exercising after moving into a new house because the apartments I lived in had a gym w a treadmil that I would run on, so can I simply just walk the pounds off? I eat very well. I will also do this plan that has you walking fast for some time and switching speeds which is a crazy good exercise I love. But yeah, I'm rambling, so if I simply walk for 30 45 mins is this enough to lose weight?Why is someone giving everyone thumbs down? Thank you everybody
