Would I maintain or lose weight on 1200 calories?
I'm 15, 5'3" and weigh no more than 120. I have gym class at school 2 5x per week and volleyball practice sometimes. Would I lose weight? I want to lose 15 pounds.I want to eat around 1,200 calories but I keep thinking it's too much and I really don't know what to do..
How can I lose weight on 1200 calories a day?
I'm 14, 117 pounds, 5'3, and I've looked it up and apparently my BMR is 1355 calories a day. This means i'd only be burning 155 calories a day, which is nothing...and if I'm supposed to reduce my calorie intake by 500c to lose 1 pound a week, that means i'd have to eat 855 calories a day . I've tried crash diets and I lost 14 pounds on one in 2 months, and then i gained it all back and now I'm 117 again.Help, i need a dietician .
Why can't I lose weight on 1200 calories a day?
I've been eating 1200 calories or less a day for about a week, with half an hour or more exercise each day, but i'm not losing any weight. Most of the 1200 calories are fruit and vegetables, brown bread, brown rice and pasta. I don't drink anything except water, and have lean meat eggs about 3 times a week.I'm not gaining any muscle, so the weight thing isn't my fat turning into muscle.Any ideas or suggestions why i'm not losing weight, or what I could do to lose some? oh, I'm female, 160cms tall and weigh about 70kgs

Not losing weight on 1200 calories!!!?
I started eating quite a bit through school break...for 2 weeks, i ate around 2000 calories on average and GAINED around 6 pounds It is NOT water weight or muscle because it hasn't gone away for.... quite a while now. I'm 4'11" , aged 16 years, and currently 103 ish pounds.. I want to be 95 pounds, but i've been eating 1200 calories for 2 weeks and NO RESULTS at ALL since i'm so much smaller, can't i eat less then 1200? i'm exercising 3 times a week too and i can't increase that due to my schedule.. but i try walk everywhere...so can i eat around 800 since my body requires so much less? for me, 3500 calories is NOT a pound.. i gain a pound if i eat around 1000 in excess...which is true because i ate the supposedly reccomended calorie intake for teens 2000 for 2 weeks and GAINED like CRAZY should i eat less?? like 900? or 800?
