I'm a 5'6 female weighing 148lbs and trying to get back down to when i was 135. I'm on my 2nd week of p90x. I tracked my food for about a year and figure i eat around 1350 1600 calories. I did P90x last year probably eating that amount, and didn't lose any weight or see any results. The BeachBody calorie tool taking into account that I'm doing P90x, was moderately active before doing p90x, and want to lose some lbs recommended 2000 2100 calories for me.On the one hand, I'm worried that I'm not eating enough to lose weight with these workouts which sounds counterintuitive? , but I'm also worried that if I increase from say 1500 to even 1800, I will gain weight or cancel out all my hard work.I've always had a slow metabolism, with as healthy as I eat, I feel like I should have way less body fat estimated around 28 % . I eat an entirely whole foods plant based diet, nothing processed, and only drink water and green tea no alcohol . I also run about 7 miles a week and walk about 2.5 hrs a week.I understand the math formulas about deficits and bmrs....maybe if i could just hear from someone who INCREASED their calories by a couple or few hundred and still lost weight during an exercise program. usually i cant help myself with junk food, but for the past couple of days ive been counting calories in a little book and drinking water more than anything else.now whenever i see junk food i want it badly, but once i get it in my mouth im like i dont want this anymore. i think its because i know where its going.so on a normal day i ate about 2300 calories, but gradually ive been going down, next was 1735, and the day after that was 1400. am i doing good? or am i not getting enough? also i just got a new job where i walk around the store alot, for like 5 hours straight with a 1 hour break in between the only time i sit down . also, ive read a question that someone answered with that it takes 3500 calories to lose 1 pound.. is that true? im 15 years old, and weigh about 170 180. its been a while since i weighed myself oh and i stopped drinking soda all together. how much weight do you think ill lose if i keep it up?

I'm 5'0" , 18, female, and about 129lbs I've managed to maintain this weight for the past yr, despite the fact I do little to no physical activity, and have an unorthodox eating pattern... some days i'll eat as little as 1200 calories, and other days perhaps 1800.. so my consumption isnt stable I eat whenever i feel hungry, so some days i dont even feel like eating, and others i pig out.. I don't have the freedom, let alone the time to go to a gym and work out.. I'd be lucky to even be able to find a couple days out of the week to go for a walk. I've been online for " calorie calculators" and whatnot, to figure out how many calories i need to consume to lose weight, but keep getting mixed info.. some say i need to eat around 1350 calories, others say 1700?? lol, help? I'm afraid of consuming too many calories, and gaining weight. I'd really like to get down to 110... I used to be 106 back when i was 14. same height. Help.

i do turbo jam cardio party 3 4 times a week. ab jam 2 3 times a week and turbo sculpt 2 3 times a week, i eat 1200 1400 cals a day, once in a while a may drop below 1200 or above 1400 depending on how my schedule is, i dont eat junk food very often i am a lacto vegitarian, i dont eat eggs much either, fitday says my bmr is 1350, i m 5'1 17 120lbs, i want to lose bout 20 lbs am i on the right path? any suggestions would really be appreciated please no smart allec comments thanks a bunch and God Bless, i ve been doin this about 2 1 2 weeks and havent lost anything
