Is 2 hours of cardio bike/cycling a good exercise to lose weight?
If i did this daily would it be a good exercise to lose weight? Trying to lose 20 pounds or more, thanks
Does this sound like enough exercise to lose weight?
I am 182 pounds and want to get down to 140 pounds. I am doing half an hour on the rowing machine, 200 sit ups, 15 minutes of lunges and squats, and 15 minutes on areobic steppers. Does this sound like enough or the right type of exercise to lose weight or would it be better to go for a run or do more?

So it has been 2 years since I am away from doing any sort of exercise and now I have gained weight. Also, I went through a surgery like few months ago so I was also told by my doctor to not to do any sort of exercise because that might be bad. But now I am okay to exercise. So my question is that does anybody knows which is the best exercise to lose weight fast, and when I say fast I meant as in 4 6 months of process so I can start seeing results. I know loosing weight takes times. But I don't want to know any exercise which going to take me 1 2 years to lose weight. I am sure every girls want a beautiful and slim body and like everybody else I also want that but I don't really know which is good exercise. And I also don't want any exercise which would make me have muscle like make me have a bulky body, I don't want that. So if anybody knows any good exercise, idea, tips then please tell me and please don't give me any mean answers please, PS. Don't tell me to go on a diet because I did that before and I ended up getting sick so no diet for me lolThank you for those who will be kind enough to answer my questions

Is this enough exercise to lose weight?
I'm 15, female, about 5'2.5, and weigh 95 pounds give or take a few. As you know , it's winter break no school but also lots of sweets so I wanna exercise and diet so I won't gain weight I'm happy with where I'm at so I wanna lose a few pounds now so I can pig out on Christmas and Christmas eve and new years. If I eat 1,300 to 1,400 calories a day and jog walk 3 miles on a trail and jog in place at home for an hour don't have a treadmill And my mom doesn't want to outside for so long since it's bitter cold out will I lose a little weight? Or just maintain? Thanks and please don't say I'm already underweight and blah blah blah, I'm aware I'm a tad underweight but I carry weight very unproportionally and every pound I gain shows a lot more than how it does for most. I don't look so skinny , trust me haha I look more around 110 than 95.

What are the best exercises to lose weight?
I figure I'm about 35 pounds over what is supposed to be the high end of my ideal weight range. I weigh 222.5, and I'm spposed to weigh 195. I don't have much muscle either. I'm not very strong. I'm on a low fat low carb but not no carb high protein but not too high diet and eat under 1500 calories and get about 120 grams of protein a day, but I am not losing weight and don't seem to be losign fat. I plan on ratcheting down the calories over time by eliminating starches. I eat 3 eggs and a cup of skim milk for breakfast, 2 peices of bread and a slice of ham for lunch, and a can of beans, peas, or lima beans, or a can or bean or lentil soup, 1 2 1 3 pound 4 6 ozs. of meat, and 4 oz of dry rice or pasta for dinner, and either a serving of fruit or a serving of vegetable.I can't run that much yet I have had achillies tendontis and partial tears of the achilles tendons and am trying to start running again slowly, but I'm only running 1 mile a week now and I figure I won't be up to 2 1 mile runs per week for another 4 weeks, and won't be up to 5 1 mile runs a week for another 4 weeks, and won't be up to running 6 miles straight and 8 alltogether for another 23 weeks, and 10 miles straight and 12 alltogether 5 weeks after that. That's the plan anyway. I am also hiking about 5 10 miles every weekend and backpacking 1 3 miles with about a 40 pound pack, 5 days a week , and want to do a long all day or an 2 day over night backpacking trip soon. I've also been lifting weights here and there, and doing pushups and, abdominal exercises for an hour about once a week. I plan on increasing that to 2 days a weeka nd then 3 over the next I'd do the treadmill or elyptical or stationary bike more but I don't want to have to buy a gym membership.
