How can a kid who rarely gets exercise lose weight?
The thing is, I'm naturally really skinny. Ever since I was little, I'm been a little toothpick. But I started taking medicine for my OCD, and one of the side effects was massive weight gain. I wish I'd known that at the time. > < But now I've bulked up, and honestly, I'm pretty damn fat. I'm 13 years old and weigh around 170 pounds. I like to stay the size I am, just not big stomach wise. I'm home schooled, so I don't really get exercise at school, and nobody my age lives near me, so I don't go outside that often. How can I lose weight?I actually want to lose FAT. If I don't look big, I really don't care how much I weigh.
Dieting/exercise lose weight then gain?
Hopefully someone can give me some insight. I'm trying to lose 25 pounds started at 170 and would like to get to 145 I'm 5'8" . I've never been a completely unhealthy eater, but I've cut my caloric intake to 1200 day of lean proteins, veggies, and no alcohol that was hard . In addition, I've been exercising about 45 60 minutes 5 days each week walking, elliptical, treadmill, yoga, pilates I mix it up. I've been doing this about 4 weeks now. The first 2.5 weeks I got down to 163...now I'm back up to 168 What's going on?? I use fitday.com to track my intake and am very honest about it I don't grab a cookie or mouthful of food here and there, I'm very disciplined so I know my calories are on track. I've been doing some minor strength exercises crunches, arms, lunges, etc to tone, but I don't think this is from gaining muscle. Or is it? Any insight you could provide me would be appreciated this is so frustrating My sister's wedding is in June and I really want to be down to 145. I have an athletic frame and anything much less looks sickly, but at this point I don't think I will ever get there I was so excited to lose 7 pounds so quickly, but now I'm worried b c the numbers are creeping back up
How can an obese person who can barely exercise lose weight?
combined with eating properly how can an obese person lose weight with at home DVD's, etc. how about trying something like pilates or yoga? is that too hard?
How can picky eaters who hate to exercise lose weight?
my friend is a little on the chubby side, but she is like the pickiest eater on the planet, and she refuses to exercise i am sooo tired of hearing her complain about her weight. advice?
Can anyone help me with regards to exercising/losing weight?
I want to achieve how i was before about 2 years ago , where i was actively fit and very slim i.e. i would go to the gym at least 3 times a week with sports activities such as rounders, netball. However i am finding this harder than i thought. End of January, I started exercising one twice a week and taking it slow so my body is used of it. Now i am on three times a week, 2 hours at the gym. And now, i am finding problems where i did not when i started gyming 2 years ago. For example at the beginning, where i was weighing myself, i noticed changes in grams dropping in my weight, however the last two gym sessions, they have either put on or the same Sometimes i am dizzy, or not feeling as energetic I am starting to eat a lot more than when i started gyming this maybe obvious reason because i am using more energy thus i need more food however i believe its not because of this, becuase i eat so much food i want my entire stomach to be so heavy and until i feel sick sometimes . Also, at the beginnning, i found it very hard to stop eating unecessary foods like chocolate, busicuits, crisps however, i thought i passed through that I don't know what i am doing wrong during the processes of losing weight and being healthy. However i know the exercise i have achieved in the last couple of weeks i've definately put out back on becasue of the third point. I feel that exercising for me is useless at the moment, as i just see that i am burning the exact or more amount and i am not reducing my weaight amount. Can anyone give me any tips please?
How can I exercise/lose weight with a really bad back?
I have scoliosis and have metal rods in my back. I had surgery 6 years ago, but never had any physical therapy following. Since then, I have not found any ways to exercise lose weight without really hurting my back. I tried yoga, but ended up pulling all kinds of muscles in my back. Are there any exercises or things I can do to help me lose weight that would help, not hurt, my back?Thanks so much If there's anything that I need to clarify, please ask I completely agree that I should have had physical therepy following my surgery. Best type of exercise, lose weight, get tighs in shape?
I am overweight, trying to lose it seriously for about 6 weeks now. It doesn't seem like much is happening.I stand walk carry heavy things up and down stairs all day at work.I started out cutting things out of my diet, adding in better stuff. Now I am seriously keeping my calories between 1200 1800. I am not sure where exactly I should be. To me it seems like my diet is a complete 180. I went from walking an hour , to using a mini stair stepper , and then I downloaded an aerobics video, " Pump It Up" when I realized I couldn't afford a better exercise machine right now. I feel like I am willing to do whatever I can do that will work best.I am trying to lose weight. I am trying to strengthen my tighs, as per doctor's orders. I overstress my calfs by standing all day, and I guess I rely on my calfs when using my legs.Should I be saving to buy an elliptical or a stationary bike? Are aerobics videos sufficient for burning calories getting in shape?

Okay I'm going to be joining the cross country team next year and I want to be ready for it. I weight about 121 as of before thanksgiving I'm about 5 foot 2 or 3 fourteen years old and in ninth grade. how long, and intensely should i be running working out a day to be about 108 what my doc wants ? how much should i be eating a day? and honestly i will never be able to stop pigging out...also i really need motivational stuff... tips? okay, so heres the deal, I want to lose 10 pounds and firm tone up a little by may.right now im 17, 5'4" and 124 pounds...im pretty okay with myself in general, but not in a bikini, lol.i already work out, 3, 4, or 5 times a week, and pretty intensly...not superwoman but like, running 2 or so miles...ellipticalling, biking, stuff like that.i eat pretty healthy...im a vegetarian so i eat lots of fruits and vegetables...i rarely eat fast food...tho i do enjoy the occasional cookie, dessert...stuff like that, lol. what can i do to get in shape by May? what about diet? i dont want to diet because i enjoy food too much...thanks

I NEVER exercise unless walking around the house cleaning or walking around school counts. I eat lots of junk but i haven't gained any weight in the past 4 years. Does this mean that if i started exercising I would be burning off that extra weight immediately?
